9:20 – 9:30 – We will go over our morning message and correct mistakes using our knowledge of a friendly letter and correct grammar.
9:30 – 10:15 – Guided Reading
We will all work on word wall words by filling the correct word in the sentence!
Group 1 – We will finish our vocabulary web from yesterday and collect important information on our biography!
Group 2 – We will create a poster on the important information we learned about George Washington over the last few days.
Group 3- We will reread our book on gardens and create our own garden in a picture.
10:15 – 10:40 –Whole Group Reading
We will finish answering our questions about Dr. Seuss and the important information we learned about his life.
10:40 – 10:55- Writing/Grammar
We will review our morning and write down our homework for tonight.
10:55 – 11:35 – Music
11:35 – 11:50 – Writing – We will watch as Mrs. Del Balzo models how to write the last writing assessment. Make sure to use strong reasons.
11:50 – 12:50 –Lunch/Recess
12:50 – 1:10- Writing-We will continue writing from the morning!
1:10 Switch for Math/Science/Social St.
Afternoon Class
1:00 – 1:30 - Language
We will review our DOL sentences from morning work. We will be sure to include all the parts of a sentence and focus on word choice! We will go over our quiz and graph our results!
1:30 – 2:15 – Guided Reading

We will complete our organizers and begin drafting our letters. Mrs. Del Balzo will model how to write a strong closing!
