Sorry I haven't been keeping up. I was out Thursday and Friday with a very sick little boy! He didn't want to get shots so he decided to pick up a virus. Below is what we will be working on today. I do want to remind everyone we will be working up to winter break so it is important that students continue to do their homework and come to school prepared to learn!

AM Reading
Reading – Today will investigate word choice in poetry. We will compare the words nature and music maker on a t-chart. We will then read a poem and discuss why the author describes nature as a music maker.

Writing- Today we will create our glossary and table of contents to finish up our animal research books. We will be sharing them with partners this Friday!

Spelling / Language – We will continue to investigate short e sounds in words and identifying common and proper nouns.

Spelling / Language – We will continue to investigate short e sounds in words and identifying singular and plural nouns.
