It really does seem like forever since I have seen you guys! I hope you have enjoyed your 5 day weekend, but we have a lot of work to do when we get back tomorrow, and barring any crazy weather event we should be back tomorrow. We are going to be working on test taking skills over the next few weeks and of course our guided reading groups. Sword in the Tree I promise you will finish your books this week:-) I know it seems like you have had your books for a long time. We will be continuing with short u words and we will have our test this Friday but if we need a retest we will come back and visit this unit again another time. In writing we are going to be moving on to persuasive writing so think about how you get your parents to get you something. Do you beg, ask a bunch of times, promise to behave???? We are going to writing to persuade so we will need to think of ways to explain what we want through writing... I miss you guys, but I have to admit it has been fun playing with Austin:-) See you tomorrow!
