Thank you to all of those parents that were able to make it to our Open House today. Please don't let today be the only time you visit. We are more than happy to have you come in anytime to watch what goes on in our class. We had a busy day!
Reading- Students met in their guided reading groups to have small group time with Ms. Warno and myself. During our whole group session students read about bats in their scholastic news and shared facts they learned about bats. Tomorrow we will write down our facts and decide what the author's message was for writing the article.
Writing- We met in small groups today to revise our writing. Many students will edit and begin publishing their papers tomorrow. Then we will be off to our next piece. No rest for good authors.
Spelling - Students received their new words today for the next two weeks. Please make sure to look at students' spelling tests from last week that I glued into their notebooks.
I will have more tomorrow. Get those permission slips back for Strathmore!
