Well we made it through our first day of the week. Students should have brought home a new spelling journal and a homework schedule stapled into their purple folders. All spelling and reading materials are to come back to school each day. Please call or let me know if you have questions about homework. I am going to start a round of phone calls this week to touch base will all parents. These calls are just to catch you up on what we are doing and address any concerns you might have. I am always available during school hours to talk. Students go to specials from 11:10 - 11:50 each day and I am at school by 8:30 am if you need to talk about anything in particular. I will hopefully get to everyone by the end of the week.
Reading - Finished up characters and character traits but will continue to review all year.
Writing - Discussed how to make longer sentences using (who, what, when, where, why) prompts.
Spelling - Sorted words from last week and shared a poem with a - e words.
