Sorry to be posting so late but my little just went to sleep and it's the first time all day I have had to sit at a computer and type. Boy, do I know how you parents feel. This is a new experience for me, getting up, going to work and then coming home to a three month old that loves attention. I don't know how you all do it, BRAVO! That being said we had a great first day of school. Students came in and deposited their supplies then many enjoyed breakfast. Breakfast is available to all students everyday for FREE, so please let you child know they are welcome to it. We then went over our packed agenda and dove into the day. We learned what our morning work was and how to complete it ( correcting sentences and word work). After that we created writing pieces on our favorite animals. Make sure to look these over when you come to back to school night they are very cute. We were then off to creating ground rules and taking a tour of our school. After that lunch and recess were calling our names. After recess students switched to go to math and I received Ms. Sheinin's class for the afternoon doing many of the same activities as the morning class. Students brought home many important papers for you all to complete and return so please do so soon as possible. I appreciate you sending such wonderful children to me. Finally, ask you children about their "Bulldog Bones" I will tell you more about them tomorrow.
