We are still in testing and just a reminder that there is no homework this week! Not even Zip-locks. Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a good breakfast. We will continue to have breakfast at school as well! I was so proud of the strategies I saw students using today! Way to go second grade!

9:00 – 9:20 – Mrs. Del Balzo will go over our agenda and the word of the month. We will read a letter from Mrs. Del Balzo and fix mistakes!
9:20 – 9:30 – Switch for TN2 testing. Students may be going to different rooms based on accommodations!
9:30 – 11:50 – TN2 testing!! We are going to use our good test taking strategies!
• BE CONFIDENT THAT WE KNOW THE INFORMATION!
• go back and reread the passage
• go back and reread the questions
• read all of the answer choices
• fill our mark in heavy and dark
• look for new directions
• look for picture clues
• only fill in one bubble per question

1:30 – 3:10 Reading/Writing
Mrs. Del Balzo will hold small groups for 10 minutes a piece. We will continue to work on our poetry anthologies!
Mrs. Del Balzo and Ms. Lasky will split groups to adapt the story we voted on yesterday! Don’t forget to bring your imagination and silly ideas with you!
PM Class 1:10 – 3:10
1:10 – 1:30 – We will go over language sentences and write down our homework for the evening.

1:30 – 2:00 - We will take our spelling test and language quiz.
2:00 – 2:30 – We will use our poetry packets to write our alliteration and onomatopoeia poems in our anthologies.
2:30 – 3:10 – Return to Ms. Sheinin’s class.
