Friday's Agenda

We finished mock testing today for TN2 our real test will be the week of the 28th. Please continue to do the Thursday night homework that uses multiple choice comprehension questions. This will help students practice the format for the test. Listed below are a couple of things I would appreciate you reminding your students about.
Reading:
Read ALL the answer choices before selecting an answer.
Go back to the passage to find answers to questions.
Do not speed through answers to get done. We have to sit for the entire time anyway:-)
Listen to oral directions about vowel sounds!

Math:
Line up your place value columns correctly.
Use scrap paper to complete your answers.
Pay attention to operation signs + -

These are just a few reminders! Students did a great job in mock testing. We do this to help students know the room they will be in and who they will be working with. Some students have accomodations so they may need to move to another room in order to have them receive them. It also allows teachers to know what areas we need to review again before testing and builds student's stamina for sitting and concentrating for such a long time! I was really proud of the effort they put forth.
